Primary Style: All-Cap Value
Style Benchmark: Russell 3000 Value The Consensus portfolio seeks long-term appreciation by utilizing a multi-strategy approach to uncover fundamentally sound stocks. The strategy looks for 50 stocks that attain high scores from multiple individual strategies and thus have "consensus" from approaches with varying valuation, growth and financial strength tests. The majority of the strategies utilized are value oriented, but the model incorporates uncorrelated growth-driven methods in an effort to smooth performance in various market environments. The Consensus portfolio is rebalanced monthly and intelligent tax selling rules are applied to the sale of individual positions in order to maximize the portfolio's tax efficiency. This strategy is used as a core portfolio within clients' accounts and is appropriate for investors with an average risk tolerance.
